How to apply for a grant
Before applying for a grant, you need to determine if your request is appropriate for HNHfoundation funding. You can determine this, and also familiarize yourself with our priorities by reviewing two documents:

This document describes the mission, vision, values, and goals that inform our grantmaking, our current funding strategies, the grantmaking timeline, criteria for funding, general grantmaking information, and the elements required for the Letter of Inquiry. An RFP is released twice a year, in June and December. We are no longer accepting Letters of Inquiry in response to the Spring 2012 RFP. Please check back in June for the next RFP or

If your Letter of Inquiry results in an invitation to apply, download the individual documents below to submit to the HNHfoundation. NOTE: All grant application documents must be submitted electronically.
ChecklistThis document is for your information only and does not need to accompany your application package.
This document details elements to include in the funding request.
Budget FormThis document, and a budget justification, must be submitted by all applicants.
Work Plan I This document must be submitted by applicants with funding requests not exceeding $10,000. Work Plan IIThis document, which includes an evaluation plan, must be submitted by applicants with funding requests exceeding $10,000.
